    Changes/ Fixes:

    • Instruction:
    • Donwload PDHM1000.ROM
    • Prepare USB (formatted in fat32)
    • In USB, make a new folder and change folder name to UPDATE
    • Copy and paste the FW inside the UPDATE folder.
    • Turn on unit, remove disc.
    • Wait until it shows "no disc"?.
    • Insert USB (you can see progress in your tv monitor)
    • Wait until it turns off.
    • When it turned off, remove usb and turn the unit on.

     

    • Download the Zip/RAR file from the Platinum Karaoke website: https://platinumkaraoke.ph/music-update-category/x-3/
    • Extract the file downloaded on your PC and transfer the extracted file to an empty micro SD card.
    • While X-3 is powered off, insert the micro SD card to the back of the unit.
    • Power on the X-3.
    • After the system booting, X-3 will automatically detect the micro SD card and install the updates. (you’ll see “Now Song updating”)
    • The system will boot to Karaoke Mode after process finishes.
    • You may now remove the micro SD card from the X-3 and enjoy your new songs.
    • Preparing the Micro SD card:
    • Insert micro SD card using a SD card reader to PC.
    • Right Click on the SD card Drive. Click Format.
    • On the File System Drop Down option, select FAT32.
    • Click on Start.
    • Click Ok when formatting is finished.
    • Note: Song updates has an equivalent song authentication, please contact Platinum Karaoke Customer Service for more information.

    • Hit enter and close all of the programs and eject USB.
    • While the unit is powered off, insert the USB and power on the unit.
    • It will automatically detect the USB and install the updates.
    • The system will automatically boot to Karaoke Mode after processes finishes.
    • You may now remove the USB from the unit and enjoy your new songs.(For you to be able to check the New songs, using the remote just press NEW SONGS)

    How to install: (Piano/Flute)

    • Download file
    • Extract file
    • Copy ROM file to USB flash drive (USB flash drive should be freshly formatted to FAT 32 format)
    • Power on unit
    • Insert USB flash drive to unit
    • Press INPUT on remote control
    • Select USB, then choose O
    • Wait until programming finish
    • Reboot unit
    • End

     

    How to install: (Reyna 3 and 3c)

    • Download file
    • Copy ROM file to USB (USB flash drive should be freshly formatted to FAT 32 format)
    • Eject disc, wait until NO DISC appear
    • Insert USB flash drive to Reyna unit
    • Confirmation for FW update will appear, choose O
    • Wait until programming finish
    • Insert disc
    • End

      • Give the number of months you want to be authenticated and Platinum Karaoke Customer Service Representative will compute the total quotation of payment. (no. of months x 150php = TOTAL PAYMENT)
      • For payment, deposit your Cash payment to our bank accounts that will be sent to you through email. Note that once you deposit your payment you will send us a PROOF of PAYMENT through email for verification. (Proof of payment: scanned or photograph of deposit slip)
      • Verifying of your payment will be after 24 hours after the Platinum Karaoke Customer Service Representative received the email of your proof of payment. |
      • Then the Platinum Karaoke Customer Service Representative will inform you when the call authentication process will be.
      • The authentication process will only be done during 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Saturday.

     

     

    1. Download the Zip/RAR file.
    2. Extract or unzip the file to USB root.
    3. While HD-10 is off, insert the USB.
    4. Power on HD-10 and the firmware will automatically install.
    5. You may see the progress on front panel LCD.
    6. Once LCD shows “END”, firmware has been installed.
    7. Turn off the unit BUT do not remove the USB.
    8. Turn on the unit and song update will automatically install.
    9. Progress can be seen on the T.V. screen.
    10. Once installation ends, the Karaoke will boot up.
    11. End.

     

    Major HD10 Song Update Guide Steps:

        • Download Latest Song Update files from our website: Click here..
        • Extract file to PC.
        • Copy the folder USB_Auth to USB root (Figure 1.0).
        • If there is a Firmware update that comes with the Song Update, after extracting, copy all files to USB root (Figure 2.0).
        • While Major HD-10 is powered off, insert the USB to the unit.
        • Power on the Major.
        • After the system booting, the Major will automatically detect the USB and install the updates.
        • The system will boot to Karaoke Mode after processes finishes.
        • You may now remove the USB from the Major HD-10 and enjoy your new songs.
        • Preparing the USB:
        • Insert USB to PC.
        • Right Click on the USB Drive.
        • Click Format.
        • On the File System Drop Down option, select FAT32.
        • Click on Start.
        • Click Ok when formatting is finished.

    There are two ways to update the songs on you Alpha unit. I. POWER OFF METHOD Preparing the USB:

    • Insert USB to PC.
    • Right Click on the USB Drive.
    • Click Format.
    • On the File System Drop Down option, select FAT32.
    • Click on Start.
    • Click Ok when formatting is finished.
    • Download the Song Update file from the website.
    • Extract file to PC.
    • Copy the folder USB_Auth and transfer it to the USB.
    • While Alpha unit is powered off, insert the USB with contents to the unit.
    • Power on the Alpha unit.
    • After the system booting, the Alpha unit will automatically detect the USB and install the updates.
    • The system will automatically boot to Karaoke Mode after processes finishes.
    • You may now remove the USB from the Alpha unit and enjoy your new songs.(For you to be able to check the New songs, using the remote just press NEW SONGS)
    • Note: You can only process the monthly update/s one by one. POWER ON METHOD Preparing the USB:
    • Insert USB to PC.
    • Right Click on the USB Drive.
    • Click Format.
    • On the File System Drop Down option, select FAT32.
    • Click on Start.
    • Click Ok when formatting is finished.
    • Download the Song Update file from the website.
    • Extract file to PC.
    • Copy the folder USB_Auth and transfer it to the USB.
    • While Alpha unit is powered on, using the remote press set-up and then enter the default password which is 1111
    • Go to Song Update and then insert the USB with the Song Update file to the unit.
    • Press enter/ok to Song Update and the Alpha unit will automatically detect the USB, select YES to install the updates.
    • You will see the progress at your TV screen, wait until you see Update OK and then press STOP (it will return to Karaoke mode)
    • You may now remove the USB from the Alpha unit and enjoy your new songs.(For you to be able to check the New songs, using the remote just press NEW SONGS)
    • Note: You can only process the monthly update/s one by one.

      • Yes, Alpha is compatible to HD, Full HD and Ultra HD TVs that has 3.0 and higher HDMI interface, Alpha is a FULL HD ready unit, it displays 1080p x 1920p video resolution. You can enjoy high definition video resolution while singing you’re favorite karaoke hits..

     

    AS BGV REGISTER:

      • Download or transfer all the desire files (video/photo) you want to input in your Major HD-10/Alpha.
      • Readable formats are: video- avi, rmbv, mkv, mp4, mpg, wmv, etc.; photo- jpg, bmp, gif, png, etc.
      • Put these files in a USB flash drive, formatted as FAT 32.
      • Once USB is ready, on your Major HD-10/Alpha, go to the SET-UP of the unit. (Enter password to proceed)
      • Select USER CONTENTS. You will see “Song Register, BGV register and Management” sections there.
      • Under the “BGV Register” there are sub-selections VIDEO and PHOTO that are both in gray scale font color. That means it cannot be open until a USB is detected.
      • Now, plug in the USB flash drive to the USB port. It can be either on the front or the back port.
      • Look on the TV screen and check if the sub-selections of “Song Register” became color black-colored font. This means that your USB has been detected.
      • To download your videos/photos as BGV or Background Videos, select the BGV Register then download the chosen files as BGV.
      • For you to check if the files you downloaded as BGV Register are successful, return to karaoke mode, press BGV button on the remote control until you reach the USER VIDEO/USER PHOTO and you will see the slideshow of the videos/photos you entered as BGV. Or go to MANAGEMENT on the User Contents section on your Set-up and choose BGV VIDEO/BGV PHOTO to see the files that was successfully saved as BGV.

      • Then select the USER VIDEO or USER AUDIO to check your files that are successfully saved. Or go back to karaoke mode and press Country/Songlist on the remote control until you reach the USER VIDEO/USER AUDIO section, then search for the file you downloaded

     

    Yes! We update songs every three (3) months for our DVD models and monthly for the HDD models. How to update songs (Hard Disk Model):

      • Method 1 – Single Volume Update Only
      • This method will require a Flash Drive.
      • Song Update data and Certification Key data will be written in the Flash Drive. You can bring home the Flash Drive and be able to update the Platinum karaoke player by your own easily.
      • a. Bring a working Flash Drive to a Platinum Karaoke branch near to you and surrender it to our sales representative. Be sure to get a receipt. Your flash drive free space should be atleast 1 GB.
      • b. Our sales representative will then send your USB Flash Drive to our Head Office for processing.
      • c. The process will take about 5-7 working days
      • d. Once you get your Flash Drive, ask for instruction on how to use the Updater
      • Method 2 – Multiple Volume Update
      • This method will require a USB Flash Drive and Hard Disk Drive in your Platinum Karaoke player.
      • Hard Drive will be re-formatted and be written with Fresh Updated data.
      • Certification Key will be written in the USB Flash Drive.
      • You bring home the Hard Disk Drive and Flash Drive, re-install the Hard Disk Drive in your Platinum Karaoke unit, and insert the Flash Drive to run Certification process.
      • a. Carefully disassemble Hard Disk Drive from the Platinum karaoke unit.
      • b. Bring the Hard Disk Drive and 1 USB Flash Drive (at least 1 GB of free space) to our sales representative nearest you.
      • c. Our sales representative will then send your Hard Disk Drive and Flash Drive to our Head Office for processing.
      • d. The process will take about 5-7 working days.
      • e. Once you get your Hard Disk Drive and Flash Drive, ask for instruction on how to finalize the Update process.
      • How to Install the Update:
      • a. Make sure that the unit is switched off.
      • b. Attach the Flash Drive/Hard Disk/SD Card into the unit. For X2 model please note that MicroSD is not applicable for update.
      • c. Switch the unit ON.
      • d. Update will automatically run. Wait for the unit to automatically shut down.
      • e. Remove the Flash Drive/Hard Disk/SD Card. Switch the unit ON.
      • f. Update is Complete.
      • How to update songs (DVD Model):
      • a. Directly purchase DVD (comes with additional song list) from a Platinum Karaoke branch near you.
      • b. Play the DVD and enjoy your newly updated songs!.
